CHRDA Humanitarian Team visits the Adagom Refugee Camp in Nigeria

On 8 September 2018, the Center for Human Rights and Democracy in Africa (CHRDA) released their “Refugee and Resilience-Building Emergency Taskforce”, a plan designed to support over 10,000 refugees and IDPs from Cameroon. CHRDA’s Founder, Agbor Nkongho, visited the Adagom Refugee Settlement Camp in Ogoja, Nigeria.

Several months on, the conflict in SW/NW continues devastating lives and forcing +400,000 to flee their homes. Despite the generosity showed by neighbouring countries, most Cameroonian refugee families and many in their host communities find it difficult having access to basic necessities as food, water, shelter and health care.
